Ultra-Low X-Ray Exposure

First, you may want to know why you should have x-rays at all:

1.  To rule out pathologies such as tumors, cancers and infections.  Adjusting these areas can have dire consequences;

2.  To rule out fractures.  Thousands of would-be chiropractic patients have had fractures shown on x-rays.  These patients needed to be referred for proper orthopedic care;

3.  Dislocations.  Again, if found, these need to be referred for proper medical care; and,

4.  To evaluate the spine chiropractically for abnormal spinal biomechanics (motion), subluxations, misalignments and posture (scoliosis).  Then, proper adjustments can be given and spinal rehabilitative exercise maneuvers can be formulated;

5.  To re-evaluate the spine following initial treatment.  This allows us to confirm improvements and appropriately update spinal adjustments and rehabilitative exercise maneuvers.

The ultra-low x-ray procedures we use result in x-ray exposure that is 30-100 times lower than similar procedures used ten years ago.  The bottom line is a dramatic reduction in x-ray exposure for you.
